I read The Thorn Birds ages ago and remember being swept away in the story. I hope you get a chance to read these books soon.

The Pillars of Earth has been looming on my TBR for longer than I'd like to admit. I loved The Red Tent though!
Great list. I haven't read any of these but they all seem like great choices. I have heard The Thorn Birds is great, but I haven't even looked into it yet. I should do that!
I have Thorn Birds on my pile too. I will get to it one day.
Pillars of the Earth is one of my faves and red Tent isn't bad either.
I haven't read The Thorn Birds (yet) but the other two books on your list are wonderful!
