They worked out fine for me because the narrators changed by chapter. I'll have to give more of a performance read a try to see what I think.Literate Housewifehttp://literatehousewife.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7576110590268335744.post-16264326100756886182011-06-06T16:39:19.632-04:002011-06-06T16:39:19.632-04:00I agree with you - many audiobooks have failed me ...I agree with you - many audiobooks have failed me because of the quality of the narrator.Molly (Restless Reader)http://restlessreader.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7576110590268335744.post-87197165832977252282011-06-06T16:27:40.826-04:002011-06-06T16:27:40.826-04:00I agree with you - a professional reader is genera...I agree with you - a professional reader is generally a must. Memoirs are often - but NOT always - an exception. I can excuse a voice I don't love if the author is narrating his or her own memoir and brings good emotion to it, but I listened to one memoir that should have been quite dramatic and the author was almost mind-numbing narrating it.Jen - devourer of bookshttp://www.devourerofbooks.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7576110590268335744.post-59328375065740965772011-06-06T10:55:33.808-04:002011-06-06T10:55:33.808-04:00I've listened to both single narrator books an...I've listened to both single narrator books and multi-narrator books and like book.
